It Finally Happened

Hi everyone,

This is a short note to announce that I’m not continuing with Happened. I’m very glad everyone who reads it liked it, but to be honest, we’re a very, very small group. I’d like to continue to make you happy as well as try to attract a bigger audience.

And so, watch your inbox tomorrow morning for the first issue of my new newsletter: Feake Hills and Crooked Waters. Everyone subscribed to Happened gets a subscription to this one too (it’s easy to unsubscribe if you want to). It still includes some “this day in history” content, but adds other departments as well. It’s modeled after a physical magazine like The Atlantic or The New Yorker. A lot shorter though — after all, it’s still an email.

Feake Hills and Crooked Waters will be somewhere in the vicinity of weekly — probably more frequent, but we’ll see. I hope you like it!
